My name is Alexis Buchholz and I am the Canine Trainer of Petsuites Dayton. I am originally from Montana, where I worked with a rescue/fostering program called “Pet Paw-see” and that is what kick-started my interest in working with animals professionally. My husband and I moved to Dayton in October of 2019, I started at Petsuites in November of that year, and the rest is history! I have moved up through several positions within our resort throughout the years and am really looking forward to focusing on training going forward. I have 4 dogs at home, Maximillion (10 year old Chihuahua/Pug mix), Viking (2 year old English Cream Golden Retriever), Remington (1 1/2 year old Siberian Husky), and Edna aka Eddie (10 month old Beagle), and 2 cats (Sherman & Bubble) who I adore more than anything! In my free time I love to read, listen to podcasts, go to concerts, travel, do projects around my home, and play Xbox. I’m excited to begin helping more pups in the Dayton area become their best selves!
